About Me
Hello, my name is Jess. I’m the founder of bright SPORTS + ENTERTAINMENT and I LOVE game day.
When it comes to game presentation, I’ve seen so many sides of the game. I’ve been in the marching band and in the pep band. I’ve been behind the microphone, on the sideline, in the press box, behind the scenes, at the table and in the middle of it all.
How It Started
Years ago, I was working as a Sports Marketing intern at my Alma Mater, The University of South Florida, and it was game day. We’d arrived early to install the field wall signage and ensure the locker rooms were stocked. We had our pre-game meetings, completed the graphics run through and finally, gates were open.
South Florida was having a great year and the stands were filling up quickly. The lights were on, the pre-game show started, the marching band performed, and we were off. At this point, I walked out of the tunnel to our promotions home base and it hit me. I was a part of something so much bigger than myself. No matter how small my role, I was – at least partially – responsible for the insanity, joy and overall fandom that every single fan was feeling at that moment.
Trust me when I tell you, there’s nothing like that feeling.
How It’s Going
Over the years, I pursued a different career path, but always managed to stay sports adjacent. Whether I was serving as the in-stadium PA Announcer, or bringing multiple different Bowl Games to life as the Producer, I couldn’t stay away.
It doesn’t matter the sport – I believe game day should be the most electric, exciting and fulfilling day of the week! And I am really good at making that happen!
So, I decided to make it my full-time job and founded bright SPORTS + ENTERTAINMENT. This venture allows me to combine over 20 years of sports marketing, game presentation and event production experience with 15 years of advertising sales and revenue strategy to do something that I love and that allows me the lifestyle I want.
bright SPORTS + ENTERTAINMENT strives to make every game day electric, exciting and fulfilling. To me, and soon, to you, we’ll make it so that it’s
GAME DAY. EVERYDAY.
